Dr. David Beauchamp
Senior Pastor

With over 25 years of ministry experience, Pastor David came to lead Crescent Beach Baptist Church in June of 2003.

God has accomplished much in the life of this church under the spiritual guidance, leadership and faithfulness of Pastor David.

Pastor David's commitment to the Lord is what this body of believers relies and flourishes on.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Sandy for 34 years, they have one daughter and two grandsons, which are the love of their lives.

Educational background includes a Doctor of Ministry and Masters of Divinity degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from The Baptist College of Florida.

Lindsay Terry
Music Minister

Lindsay Terry, a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, has for more than four decades directed the music ministries of some of the leading churches in America. As an extension of that ministry he has lectured on several college campuses and spoken in countless churches for music directors’ seminars and choir clinics.

In additional to his music ministry he writes for several national, Christian periodicals and has authored more than 30 books and training manuals. He has compiled three books of choral arrangements.

Lindsay has written 15 tracts for the two leading tract publishers in the United States, which have a distribution of more than ten million copies. Two of those projects are with the artist Thomas Kinkade.

His goal for the Music Ministry of CBBC is for every facet of the program to support the total ministry of the Church, as led by Pastor Beauchamp.

Brad Word
Youth Minister

Brad Word, a graduate of Liberty University, has been involved in youth ministry since June of 2002.  He and his wife Kelley moved to St. Augustine in 2005 to join the ministry team at Crescent Beach Baptist Church.   He enjoys running, basketball, activities with the youth, the Atlanta Braves and North Carolina Tar Heels.

Caleb Jones
Children's Ministry

At the age of six, I felt God tugging on my heart during a service at Calvary Baptist Church, St. Augustine, FL. I went forward, was baptized, and have been in church every Sunday since then. Dad was called into the ministry soon after, and our family moved around until Dad became the youth pastor at First Baptist Church of Branford, FL where I spent all of my high school years.

The summer before my senior year of high school, our church took a mission trip to the east end of the Grand Bahamas Island to help repair a church and do a VBS for the island kids. During the whole trip, I felt God’s hand heavy on my shoulders, guiding my thoughts and my actions. I realized that he had a plan for me that I could never get away from. Up until that moment, I’d never really felt God’s presence in my life. I gave everything else in my life to Jesus on that Wednesday night in August 1999, in an old Bahamian church. I left the sanctuary singing, and have been blessed with security of my salvation and a growing faith ever since.

From the time I returned to the states, God has been leading me and guiding me in church ministry. In the summer of 2005 I was able to intern here at Crescent Beach Baptist Church. And as of January of 2007 I was given the opportunity to join the staff as the Director of Children’s ministry. I love this church and cannot wait to see what God has for all of us in the future.
